Hi! I'm CHELSEA
Mum of two very 'fussy' eaters.
But it wasn't always this way. As babies and toddlers, they ate everything - lamb chops, salmon with couscous, veggie risotto, berries galore and even smoothies packed with greens.
Then suddenly, everything changed.
Their food preferences became limited and let's be honest, beige. Meals that were once their favourite, were replaced with the same plain food every.single. day. Mealtimes became (and still are!) a daily challenge.
Like many parents, I found myself trying everything. Blending vegetables, testing vegetable powders, offering different options - only to be met with rejection. Even vitamins became a struggle. They quickly became seen as a 'treat'... yet another battle I didn't want to deal with.
I knew I wasn’t alone. Conversations with other parents, and countless posts in mum groups, it was clear how common and real this 'picky eater' phase really is.
